I was walking along the streets outside my department when I saw this bus of tourists surrounded by lots of police cars. lots of bystanders stood around looking. so i went there to have a look, and glancing around i couldn't see what the commotion was about. there was only one bus couldn't be an collision. then from the corner of my eye i saw something beneath the bus!! i saw this pair of legs under the *&^£%"£* bus!!the bus must have ran over that person!! the legs weren't moving anymore so he/she must have been dead.. they didn't move the bus, i suspect because they didn't want to further worsen the body's condition. then some paramedics arrrived and crawled under the bus to take the body out and i couldn't bear to see the body(that's y i can't b a doctor..)so i quickly walked away. when i came back later, it must have been quite serious as the police had blocked off the entire road and the bus were still there. the tourists were still on the bus some looking clueless...

blog blog blog.. had a maths exam this morning. was interrupted by a false fire alarm. they gave us extra 15 minutes for that.

then had a crazy cooking session at night. the 3 Ws (wince,wuiseng and me) haven't cooked together for some time already. all of us were like high on drugs or something. everyone was talking and joking so much.

also we just paid the deposit for a place to stay next year. feels great to get the matter solved early. other than that.. this week I have four papers. Wish me luck.

Last Post March 18! Forgot about the blog during easter and my exams start without delay right after easter... it's great to be back after so long and weather is so great nowadays. no more hiding under the blanket. had a paper on Tuesday and just did enough to pass. Have u ever hated a lecturer so much n u juz want to throw smthg at him/her? ahaha. today during my morning lecture. all of a sudden someone ran in wearing the mask from the movie Scream(u noe which one rite?). he juz ran in, down the aisle and threw 3 eggs at the lecture, in a row!! omg, everyone was shell shocked. I couldn't believe it. lucky he missed 2 of them and the lecturer dodged 1(wah matrix xia).and then he ran out. and the lecturer in my opinion is alrite.he doesn't give us much problems. wonder why someone would do smthg like that. Anyway..... The weather has been fantastic the last 2 days =D no more bitter cold temperatures! Easter break has started and I'm flying home tmr. Anyway I'm sure all of u have heard. Waiting for chicken to grill.. 30 minutes. shall take the time to blog. Saturday wasthe long awaited M nite. it was such a great show! everything was done so well. 2 hours before arrival of guests, we were still having tons of problems and din even finish the rehearsals. the technical problems threatened to make the performers' months of hard work futile. but during the show everything went well except for once or twice when pple backstage can be heard on the mike. then on sunday, when wince n 1 were on the bus to chinatown for dinner, we say a flurry of photographers snapping away outside a hotel at knightsbridge. when we took a closer look, it was wayne rooney! first time see superstar footballer in person(not including when i watch games at the stadium.) Winston's running for Msian Soc President! read his manifesto here. ahahaha. Flying home this Saturday!! =D can't wait.. oh and try this.. Play tictactoe with wince and quah!

Monday: Woke up late today because I slept late last night. Missed a morning maths lecture. damn!i make a promise to wake up next week. Afternoon, spend the whole afternoon in lab doing my programming coursework last minute(i have a monday computing deadline everyweek). after looking through everything, absolutely no idea what is going on. go look for hank. ask him to email me his code. copy n paste. hand up. go home.

Tuesday: woke up for 9 am lecture! yes! decided to congratulate myself.celebrate by skipping the 3 hour lab session in the afternoon(can do last minute on monday wat =D ) go back. at night wait impatiently for the weekly release of bleach.

Wednesday: one lecture only. slept in. woke up at 10. feel guilty abt missing lecture. suddenly realise i have 12pm(reasoning abt programs) coursework deadline. ran like I've never run before to school. spend 2 hours doing it. afternoon summary: anime, games, sleep.

Thursday: Wake up for 10 am lecture. Lessons all the way until 3pm(1 hour lunch break). go back sleep. at night wui seng call me to go grocery shopping. Thursday so wince went for volleyball. me n quah cook dinner. concoct something weird from everything we have in the cupboard. but always end up tasting not bad. sleep.

Friday: 10 am maths lecture. arrived 15 minutes late. after got 2 tutor meetings.(i have 3 meetings per week wif 3 diff tutors.). then 1 maths lecture at 3. beg my coursemate to borrow his maths notes.(need to copy all those i missed). look forward to wilson house football and the weekend. curse the weather.

Yeah a blog entry. last wednesday had a sumptuous steamboat dinner at Keong's place wif the london pple. Had a great(also the most sleep deprived and money depleting) CNY weekend last week. Justin, pei shuen, samuel, wei shen came down and on friday gambled all thru the nite,wif the london pple. some pple won a LOT, sum lost a lot.(you know who u r) then Saturday, we carried out our Project Sushi(planned since 2 weeks ago). We were supposed to fast for 24 hours and then treat ourselves to a gili gulu buffet. me,yong and jeff were the ones supposed to go at first eneded up everyone joined in our project sushi. anyway we found it after a long time(none of us knew exactly where it was) n me, keong, quah, tze hua, justin and weishen sat at 1 table n we ate 83 plates plus 8 bowls of noodles! anybody who said the word full was to be punished by taking another plate of sushi =) and wei shen was punished quite a few times, once for asking quah Are you full? and then pple came out wif i'm bloated and keong wee saying I'm full deliberately to fill his endless hunger. anyway i was very disappointed with the sushi. the whole nite there was only like <20 diff types of sushi.after a while,u get sick of it and I wasn't 100% full when i left. but we completed project sushi. the waitress threw us the bill and whenever we order smthg, they give us long face. they were like so anxious for us to leave.(scared bankrupt izzit)btw it was £16 p person. expensive =( after that we went to keong's place(except sam and wince who went back to play submarine[inside joke]) captain chiew. [salute]. anyway, went to keong's place gambled somemore playing "in between"(suggested by justin) and sum pple had really bad luck. then went back at 5am to see Sam still awake(caught him wif the lights off and comp on) n I fell asleep but Sam/yong played pro evo until 7am. crazy guy. then Sunday had dinner again in chinatown at yang cheng. and again we met with bad service from the waitresses. when we said we wanted summore rice, she went away sulking! then came back wif 3 big bowls of rice. then whole nite gave us long face. wth? but the dinner was good( =0 scully she spit in all our dishes) and after that everyone had to leave for their respective places and the wekend was over. and i braced myself for the killer week. 5 courseworks to hand up!! last week: none. this week pile up on us. and this morning I went late for lectures only to find out there was a test! flunked that one.oh ya on monday(v day), cooked a unbelievably salty dinner with quah,wince,jin rong and guan.(the vege was partly my fault) but that meal seriously sent our blood pressures sky high. haih.wah write so much crap already. Stop liao

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR people!!!!! cooked a big CNY eve dinner on Tuesday night. We had bak kut teh, chicken stew, cabbage, sweet n sour chicken, steamed fish. 9 of us all wearing red were so full, and there were some leftovers.. :( then went to the party at Evelyn Gardens. there were loads of msians there. and pple were drinking and gambling. Me and wince went to gamble at the blackjack table. and i did win some money =) then today (as in 9th of feb) went to keong wee's place and had a steamboat dinner with quah, wince, keong, jeff, suyin, tzehua and again we had leftovers.. (wasteful) but the steamboat was so good. then we played some mahjong (no gambling!) and headed home at half one. if i'm not wrong, this is my 1st CNY in London and it din go too bad.

nearly got stuck in the elevator yesterday! got into the elevator and the door only closed about 80% and it started to move upwards and then it stopped. I panicked and quickly press the button n the door opened. the elevator had moved up a few inches already n i had to step 'down' from the elevator. and it had remained like that the whole of yesterday. i wonder whether i spoilt it?? i would think twice next time b4 taking an elevator. dunno wat to do if i was stuck inside!?!! wah juz had a great dinner with quah. for the second time in imperial n this week, fish was on the menu. we din hav proper steaming equip so quah tried to suspend the plate on top of water. but the water keeping on boiling over n washing away the sauce, wuiseng had to re-marinate the fish many times. he shouted f*** off so many times that he named that fish the f***off fish. i wonder who/wat he was reffering to.. then we had chicken wif satay sauce, bacon, n stir fry lettuce wif egg. all this for 2 pple. jealous a not?... check out this skin i made. submitted it to blogskins.com last night n now already got 20 downloads n counting.. when u see that n all the comments pple leave behind, juz gives u this sense of achievement. n wince, this is the completed prince of tennis skin. :)

had a exhausting weekend.. friday football then late night mahjong n bridge (celebrate ding's bday) slept at 7. then woke up at 12 went to play football again... but managed to stay awake during the 170 min long Aviator starring Di Caprio. in my opinion not bad. worth watching. 3.75/5 is my score. :) then sunday wince finally got his d500! wah so jealous. wanna get new phone also. n yesterday night wince beat me in winning eleven 3-2. but the worst thing was on sunday night when i juz got my dvd burner my bro brought from msia. wince n i so excitedly opened up my comp casing n slotted the drive into the compartment. n u need 2 alignment screws n 1 securing screw to hold it in place. then i realised that the box din come wif a securin screw. n we were searching frantically for it. n in the end we had to take the drive out n put everything back in place. all efforts in vain. missing juz 1 small bloody screw.. nothin's goin for me rite now.. :)

it's been a weekend of late nite mahjong n more pro evo marathons. friday nite was me wince quah n cindy. next day met up wif jeff, suyin, tze hua, keong, yihyong for lunch(dim sum) at royal china. as usual (typical m'sian) everyone was late. after that quahNcindy went off some went back, me wince jeff n yong went walking around at oxford street. wince took a long time to decide on a jacket which he said made him look fat at the hips. yong also bought a jacket. then dropped by several phone shops cos they wanted to sign a contract. what began as a phone hunt ended with the discovery of the phones4u girl. at a phones4u shop we were greeted by this asian girl n she offered this great o2 deal for samsung d500.n nobody had their bank statements or documents so couldn't sign. but when we said we were going to sign tmr prob at another phones4u shop she quickly told us if we came back n signed as a group we could get extra cashback. she told us to come back anytime btw 11n4pm n ask for Summer. yes that was her name. when we came out of the shop we were like daring yong to ask her out tmr when coming back n making up pickup lines like 'Summer is a "hot" name' n scenarios like Yong: you r so beautiful phones4u girl: i beg ur pardon? yong: the d500 is so beautiful. go yong! we support you! it's glorious friday again! i'm always so high spirited on Fridays. i've made a 2 weeks late new year resolution. i've decided to limit the number of lectures i skip per week to at Most 1. it's becos i've been realli struggling in the maths part of my course n i regret not taking a full comp course instead of this workload crazy maths+comp. but it's mainly due to me pontenging so many classes (mostly 9,10am lectures). from start of term till now i still haven't attended a full week's lectures. i will erase the 100% record mext week! wish me luck :) but having said that i will never abandon my work hard play harder policy. visitors to london this weekend: cindy n ding.

the day b4, we went to a b-day party at willis jackson(another ic hall) n dinner was great. roast chicken with chicken curry, vege wif prawns n pasta. then played card for almost the whole night wif the losers downing shots. beat up the bday boy n forcing to down shots consecutively. then took crazy pictures like every1 standing around the bday boy holding knives like the taliban videos. lol. becos it was a weekday we were out of there by 11. Went to wagamama yesterday for dinner with quah, wince, ni tsia n azril. it's the third time in 3 days eating in wagamama for me n wince. we had to finish off some discount coupons which expire on the 23rd.. :p cheapskate us.. when we came back we played 4 player pro evo on my comp. wif so many players pple controlling different pple, the screen was so chaotic. but it was great fun. and yong: let's settle our score this weekend!!

but played football for the 1st time on friday since ages ago.then on sunday we made a major breakthru in our cooking expeditions. we came across this buy 1 get 1 free king prawns at sainsbury. and with the tempura flour we have we cooked tempura prawns! which had to be deep fried with winston nagging abt the amount of oil we used.. woken up at 5:30 am by wui seng! reason? nothin' to do n wanna ka cao me?! anyway wei shen came down to ic cos flying back to malaysia from heathrow. Went to eat luch at bayswater(jeff, quah, wei shen, sophia, wenjia).Then went over to visit Keong wee's new apartment. very nice and spacious place! how I wish I can stay there next year! but it is too far from ic and no direct tube line. met up with yong and went to eat dinner at this korean restaurant in oxford circus.(yong, jeff, ash, keong, quah, weishen, pat, selina, aki) it was great meeting the concord pple. we ordered chicken n pork which was b.b.qed right on the spot on our table. after that went to haagen daaz in leicester sq to eat ice cream(new craze?!) xpensive.. N certain pple (tsk tsk) coped some stuff from there. like the spoon. apparently a menu has been taken from ther as well. then rushed to keong's place, grabbed his luggage(staying at ic as well due to early morning flight tmr)and managed to catch last tube to IC at 12:32am *phew. n now suyin ash weishen jeff keong quah r playing mahjong n i'm sure drinking will take place at some point :) anyway happy christmas break to everyone! n if wince is reading this, thanks for the card. and yong: unfortunately the final showdown din take place. :) I'm sure we'll settle our score will be settled next term! go train somemore...

second time my halls water supply kena cut off. This is what they told us: Ive been told the water problem is related to the trunk main in High St Kensington being shut off due to a burst pipe. Im told this has affected the whole campus and that the mains water valves have now been shut. Im told Thames Water have anticipated the water to return within an hour. this came at 1512h and water only came back like 8pm? We could not cook dinner, bathe and worst of all flush the toilet. obviously pee and crap starts to pile up and the whole place stinks up. and BIG NEWS! Quah(literally big) asked a Malaysian girl out. she works in a chinese restaurant(oriental canteen) next to Imperial...
